How do I register for SLO days?
How to Register
- Step 1: Accept Your Offer. Accept your Offer of Admission from Cal Poly through your Cal Poly Portal to secure your spot, which allows you to register for SLO Days and the Week of Welcome (WOW).
- Step 2: Pick a Date.
- Step 3: Register for Virtual SLO Days and WOW.
When can you start applying to Cal Poly?
October 1
Cal Poly’s application is open from October 1 – November 30. You must submit your application and fees (or fee waivers) through Cal State Apply by 11:59 p.m. PT. Late applications are not accepted.

Virtual Orientation Day is when you attend iMeet CPP and Virtual Advising & Registration. On this day, you will have the opportunity to meet new students, current students, staff, and faculty; learn about your college; receive academic advising and register for your first-semester of CPP classes!

- Sleeping Bag & Pillow (Linens may also be used for a Twin XL bed)
- Clothing & Toiletries (Towel and Shower Shoes too!)
- Phone Charger/Additional Device to take notes (Pen and Paper work too!)
- Reusable water bottle, sunscreen, hat, comfortable walking shoes and a jacket for the evening.

Where is the 24 hour laboratory located on campus CPP?

The lab is located on the first floor of the University Library. Â The 24-hour computer lab will be closed on campus holidays. You must use your Bronco Access Card to enter the lab.
How many units must a CPP student complete for GE requirements?
16 units
Students are required to take at least one course from each sub-area. A minimum of 16 units must be completed.
