As we gather today around your name, we pray that you would fill our hearts, our minds and our souls. Transform us Lord, and make us more like you. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen. O Lord, our God, we gather together today to give you thanks and praise your greatness.

To worship is to show a lot of love and adoration for something. Religious believers worship gods, and people can worship other people and things too. If you worship God, then you love God so much that you don’t question him at all. Going to church is a form of worship — so is prayer.
