Can you drive to Stehekin?
The journey to Stehekin is half the fun of vacationing here, but DO YOU HOMEWORK before starting your trip! You will NOT be driving your car to my cabin. There are no roads connecting Stehekin to the rest of the world. Plan to park your car and finish the journey by boat, plane, or walking on your own two feet!
Where is Stehekin located?
Located at the northwest end of Lake Chelan, it lies just south of the North Cascades National Park. Stehekin is within Lake Chelan National Recreation Area, a unit administered by the National Park Service.
How do you get around in Stehekin?
The Red Shuttle provides transportation service in Stehekin. Shuttles leave from the Lodge, located at the Stehekin boat landing, four times a day. The shuttles travel 11 miles up the valley to High Bridge. High Bridge is the primary trailhead for a variety of hiking trails, including the Pacific Crest Trail.
How do you get from Seattle to Stehekin?
There is no direct connection from Seattle Airport (SEA) to Stehekin. However, you can fly to Wenatchee, take the taxi to Columbia Station, take the bus to US 97A & East St, take the walk to Chelan, WA, then take the ferry to Stehekin.

How do I get to Rainbow Falls Stehekin?
You can catch a ride on the red bus to the trail head. A short walk will get you up to the falls. An overlook a few feet above the first landing will reveal an even better look of the falls and the pools below. We’ll worth the trip or leave the lodge and take a day hike.
How do I get to the Agnes Gorge trail?
Access: Access from Stehekin is via the Stehekin Valley Road and Stehekin Shuttle, which runs between Stehekin and High Bridge. Hikers can also access this trail from Bridge Creek via the Old Wagon (Pacific Crest) Trail. The trailhead is located near High Bridge on the Stehekin Valley Road.
Can you swim at Stehekin?

How big is the tent cabin at Stehekin Valley?
The Stehekin Valley is gorgeous with big jaggy mountains around you. The Tent Cabin is exactly as they describe it – a full size bed in a wood cabin that is about 8 feet x 10 feet. No electricity and the shared bathrooms/showers are nearby (which were fine).
