How long does it take JB Weld WaterWeld to set up?

WaterWeld™ has a set time of 15-25 minutes and sets hard in one hour. WaterWeld™ cures to an off-white color, is rated at a tensile strength of 1300 PSI and will withstand temperatures up to 300ºF.
Does JB Weld work on wet surfaces?
J-B Weld’s WaterWeld (pictured) is a specially formulated epoxy putty that can be applied to a wet, leaking or underwater surface. Once kneaded, it can be easily molded. It has a set time of 15 to 25 min. and will be fully cured, solid as steel, after 60 min.
Does JB WaterWeld work on polyethylene?
The original J-B Weld does not work well on polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. Polyethylene is often used for water or gas containers or garden sprayers. Polypropylene is a harder plastic, durable enough for use on some car radiator parts.

Does epoxy bond to polyethylene?
Epoxy will not bond polyethylene and polypropylene materials. Neither will polysulfide adhesives such as BoatLIFE Life-Calk, or polyurethane adhesives such as 3M 5200 or Sika-flex. Methacrylates are generally the type of adhesive to use to bond these dissimilar plastics.
