What is the age limit for YWAM?
Anyone can do a DTS! YWAM was created to equip and send young people into the nations, but as long as you are 17 years old or older with having completed high school (or have a GED), you can apply! There are some DTS’s that specifically focus on providing mission training for families or older students.
Do YWAM employees get paid?
YWAM (Youth With a Mission) is a Christian organization where we are all volunteers, although we don’t get paid. It’s a good place to be with amazing people.
How can I join YWAM?
The first step is to enrol in our Purpose and Leadership Development. This is a two-year, hands on program that trains you in the core aspects of being a full-time volunteer with YWAM anywhere in the world. During the Purpose and Leadership Development you will work as a full-time volunteer staff member.
