What is the size of a standard size brick?
According to the Brick Industry Association, the most common brick sizes range from 31/2″ x 21/4″ x 7 5/8″ to 3 5/8 x 3 5/8 x 11 5/8″ as measured by Depth x Height x Length. Manufacturers produce bricks to their own specifications but generally fall within these commonly produced sizes.

What is the standard brick size UK?
Nowadays most bricks in the UK are made to a standard brick size of 215mm long, 102.5mm wide and 65mm high (215 x 102.5 x 65mm) and laid with a nominal 10mm mortar joint. However, there is a growing trend towards more non-standard brick dimensions, such as Wienerberger’s Roman and Megaline bricks.
How do you measure a brick?
