Do colleges care about honors societies?

Being in the National Honor Society is not going to help you stand out in Ivy League admissions. So don’t get so excited about being in the National Honor Society. Colleges don’t care about meaningless honors. They care about passion, intellectual curiosity, perseverance, determination, hard work, and talent.

How can I be in honors?

Go to class.Many honors courses have additional requirements, such as class participation or class discussion. If you miss class, you miss out on this part of your grade.A good circle of friends or study partners can hold you accountable. Consider making a deal with your study-buddies to keep each other in class.
