Is a number over 0 undefined?
Since no number of people can split the pizza, undefined means no value. But indeterminate is slightly different: there is no meaning to 00 because we have competing approaches on how to solve this problem. We know that 0 divided by any number is 0, but we also know that any number divided by 0 is undefined.
Whats a number divided by zero?
A positive or negative number when divided by zero is a fraction with the zero as denominator. Zero divided by a negative or positive number is either zero or is expressed as a fraction with zero as numerator and the finite quantity as denominator. Zero divided by zero is zero.
Can numbers equal zero?
Zero is an even number. In other words, its parity—the quality of an integer being even or odd—is even. This can be easily verified based on the definition of “even”: it is an integer multiple of 2, specifically 0 × 2. Zero also fits into the patterns formed by other even numbers.
Is 0 defined?
0 (zero) is a number, and the numerical digit used to represent that number in numerals. It fulfills a central role in mathematics as the additive identity of the integers, real numbers, and many other algebraic structures. As a digit, 0 is used as a placeholder in place value systems….

Is zero times zero defined?
The multiplication property of zero: Regardless of what the other number is, multiplying by zero always results in an answer of zero.
Is it possible to divide 0 by 0?
These thoughts can not merge, as 0 is not 1 or undefined, and vice versa. So 0/0 must be undefined. Also, if you think about it more closely, (Sal also says this in the next video.) division must be able to be undone by multiplication. For example, 6 divided by 2 is 3, and it can be undone by multiplying 2 by 3 to get 6.
When is 0 over 0 equal to infinity?
Ok, so X/X is 1, 0/X is 0, and X/0 is generally infinity, so what would 0 over 0 be, when it is these 3 at the same time X/0 is not defined. It is not equal to infinity.
What happens if any number multiplied by Zero is zero?
If any number multiplied by zero is zero, and any number divided by itself is one, and any number divided by zero is infinity, what is zero divided by zero? ZERO DIVIDED by zero is quite indeterminate. For if A is B times C, then A divided by B is C. But zero is equal to zero times any number whatever.
Why is there no number less than zero?
Because zero has no numbers less than it but is still in and of itself a number, there is but one possible combination of how that data set can be arranged: it cannot.
